Design | Attrition | Baseline equivalence | Confounding factors | Valid, reliable measures? |
---|---|---|---|---|
Randomized controlled trial | High | Not established on race/ethnicity, SES, or baseline measures of the outcome | No |
All outcomes reviewed with this study are eligible for a low rating because they have high attrition and did not satisfy the baseline equivalence requirements. The study does report one outcome that is eligible for a moderate rating because it has low attrition: the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, assessed at three months postpartum. However, HomVEE reviewed and reported this result in its review of Dugravier et al. (2013).
