Indeterminate rating
This manuscript received an indeterminate rating. That means HomVEE reviewers lacked sufficient information on one or more features of the study design required to receive a rating of moderate or high. A rating of indeterminate is not a statement about the quality of the research or the research design.

Notes from the review of this manuscript

This manuscript describes two studies: a randomized controlled trial (RCT) and a non-experimental comparison group design (NED). This review addresses the findings of the RCT. The review of the NED is addressed under Lind et al. (2021; Study 2).

This study received an indeterminate rating because it was a randomized controlled trial with high attrition, and HomVEE reviewers could not determine—based on the available information—whether the intervention and comparison groups were equivalent at baseline on race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and pre-intervention outcome measures, prior to the home visiting intervention being provided.
