This manuscript received a low rating because it used a non-experimental comparison group design and did not demonstrate that the intervention and comparison groups were similar in terms of socioeconomic status in the analyzed sample at baseline. Because it was rated low for this reason, HomVEE did not check for other possible factors that could have influenced the rating, including whether there was a confounding factor.
