Notes:
In addition to the randomized controlled trial (RCT), the study included a non-experimental group design (NED) study that compared the intervention group from the RCT to a comparison group of children from the community. This design had a confounding factor because all members of the intervention group were foster children, but all members of the community sample were children raised by their biological parents. Therefore, HomVEE is unable to separate the impact of ABC-Toddler from the impact of foster care. Thus, all findings from the NED comparison receive a low rating.
